How do I apply my clings or decals?
Your order will come with written instructions on how to apply your clings or decals (cling instructions are on the back of my business cards). I also have video tutorials that can be found here.
Why won’t my clings stick?
The biggest issue we seem to encounter when it comes to clings not sticking to the window, is when people dont remove the backing from the clings. The backing can sometimes be difficult to see, but when its still attached, the clings will appear cloudy or opaque, even when held up to the light. Removing this film will usually fix any issues you are having with your clings not sticking to the window.
If you have already removed the film from the back of your clings and you are still having issues, it can usually be chalked up to one of two things:
1. You aren't applying them to a wet surface. It is recommended when applying all of our holographic clings and clings that you first spray the window with water, apply the cling, and then remove any excess water from the window with a cloth or paper towel.
2. Your windows may have dirt or oils on them that are preventing your clings from sticking. It is advised to apply your clings after giving them a wipe down with window cleaner.
When will my order ship?
Orders usually always ship within 3-7 business days. the exception to this may be during the holiday season when I have an unusually high volume of orders, or if I happen to be on vacation. If for any reason my processing times end up being longer than the 3-7 business day window, there will be an announcement written about it on my home page prior to placing your order.
When should I expect my order?
Once products ship, their ETA windows for untracked packages are as follows:
Canada: 1-4 weeks
United States: 2-5 weeks
Europe: 2-8 weeks
Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 3-8 weeks
Asia Pacific: 3-10 weeks
Latin America and the Caribbean: 3-8 weeks
North Africa and the Middle East: 3-10 weeks
Sub-Saharan Africa: 3-10 weeksWhat if I gave the wrong shipping address?
- Free untracked shipping is available once per transaction. If a package is returned to me as undeliverable due to the customer entering the incorrect shipping address on their order, they are responsible for paying a reshipping fee of $5CAD to have their order reshipped. Please make sure to double check your shipping address prior to checking out. In the event that Tracked shipping was selected on an undeliverable package, shipping fees will not be reimbursed and the customer will be required to pay the full shipping cost again if they require a new tracking number for their reshipment.
- If a package is returned to me as undeliverable due to the customer entering the incorrect address on their order and they do not wish to have their order reshipped, they will be subjected to a restocking fee. The restocking fee is 20% of your order total with a MINUMUM restocking fee of $5CAD.
- In the event that an order hasn't been delivered to a customer due to an incorrect address being provided and it has yet to make its way back to me, I am unable to start the reshipping or restocking/refund process prior to receiving the order back. Return mail is generally much slower than outgoing mail and can take a long time to make its way back, so to avoid huge delays, always double check your shipping address.
Why am I not seeing rainbows?
When it comes to the brightness of the rainbows that these clings cast, there are a few factors to consider when it comes to placement. They need to have sun shining directly through them to get the prismatic effect, so depending on the amount of direct sunlight they get, as well as the direction they are facing and the time of day will all be factors in the brightness or subtly of the rainbows.
The photos in my listings are unedited/unaltered photos of rainbows that are cast through my south west facing windows Before the sun sets (these clings don’t get much sun or cast rainbows until around the mid-afternoon/early evening depending on the time of year, but cast bright beautiful prisms later in the day). I have other clings that are in my north east windows that cast bright rainbows in the early morning. South facing windows generally have the most sunlight throughout the middle of the afternoon, but the sun is higher in the sky at that time of the day, so although they get rainbows for a longer period of time, they tend to be a bit more subtle.
Window direction, weather conditions, time of day and how shaded your windows are all factors that may affect the brightness of your rainbows, but one of the great things about these clings is that they can be removed and reapplied over and over again, so they are easy to move to a different window if you would like to experiment with the most desirable placement in your home.
